Losing HeartI'm losing heart in my photography. No one notices the skill/potential that I have, not even my own family. Sure taking pictures started off as something I did for fun, or as a time filler. But now that i'm serious about it no one notices my work.
I've been trying to get myself out there through contests and websites like DeviantArt, and I refuse to "whore" myself like those crazys on myspace.
That coupled with the fact that my equipment sucks and I don't have the financial ability to upgrade is making me think that I should just give up the whole "I wanna be a photographer" shtick.
Ah, I don't know. Maybe it really is all just a lost cause for me.

Alex! I've always loved your stuff! Don't worry, with college paid for and work study on it's way you'll eventually get money to get a camera. That's what I did. Hey, and any time you need me or my equipment, just let me know. I'll be there.
